Meet Tamieyah
Tamieyah is a 25 year old singer, songwriter and performer from Miami, Florida by way of Dallas, Texas. Her love for the rhythm and blues genre and soulful country roots combined with the “eclecticity” of Miami music style have shaped her artistry and created the sound that her listeners love. Her energetic performance style creates memorable live experiences to be remembered. She has been writing and performing songs since age 5 but professionally since 2017. In 2019, she co-founded a music production company called 7233 Roots Music where she wrote and produced songs for her undergraduate community at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida. Tamieyah released her first single “Sorry” in 2019, and went on to release her first album “MIE” in 2021 which charted on #98 iTunes and #1 on both Amazon RnB charts.Tamieyah credits her inspiration and influences to God first, and then to her family and friends. Growing up in a singing household and constantly surrounded by a family that prioritizes music as a way of intimate familial connection has allowed her to always take her gifts seriously. Her music is always about love at its core whether upward, outward or inward because to Tamieyah, love keeps the world turning. She aims to inspire women all over the world to empower themselves to activate their feminine power that strengthens, heals, protects, gives to, receives from, comforts, corrects and changes our world for the better.
